Local Candidates 100% Onsite We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Specialist to lead ongoing application maintenance and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for major enterprise software releases. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between business operations, IT leadership, and third-party software vendors. You will be responsible for executing comprehensive test scripts, evaluating system functionality against operational standards, documenting defects, and providing basic tier-support and product enhancements feedback.

Key Responsibilities User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Execute approximately 1,200 pre-defined test scripts per bi-annual software release to evaluate end-to-end application functionality, workflows, and compliance requirements.

Defect & Issue Tracking

Log, document, categorize, and track bugs and system defects using Jira and internal issue-tracking tools.

Vendor & Stakeholder Liaison

Serve as the primary bridge between technical teams and external software vendors to communicate defects, review test approaches, and track remediation progress.

System Support & Troubleshooting

Perform basic functional system troubleshooting, answer detailed product questions, and provide on-site and remote user support.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

Maintain testing documentation, test scenario outcomes, and training references via SharePoint.

Continuous Improvement

Perform impact analyses on system fixes, review functional design changes, and recommend practical product enhancements.

Required & Preferred Qualifications Education

Associate degree or equivalent relevant professional experience. Strong background in structured software testing, UAT script execution, and defect lifecycle management. Experience utilizing Jira (or similar issue-tracking systems) and SharePoint for documentation and workflow tracking. Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills. Prior experience supporting public sector, regulatory, or enterprise data management systems is a plus.
