Job Description Job Description We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in the Knoxville, TN area that is looking to add a Drafter/Designer to its growing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and has experience modifying existing product designs to meet customer-specific requirements. Responsibilities Modify and update existing product drawings based on customer requirements and project specifications. Create and revise detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and MicroStation. Collaborate with project managers, drafters, and other internal teams to ensure designs meet customer expectations and manufacturing requirements. Review customer requests and incorporate design revisions while maintaining established design standards. Support engineering and production teams by providing accurate design documentation. Assist with drawing updates, revisions, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications 2+ years of design experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment. Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroStation. Experience modifying existing drawings and technical designs based on customer specifications. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments. Associate degree or technical degree in Drafting, Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
